Kristin Ciriello Pothier, partner, leads the Diagnostics and Life Science Practice at Health Advances, a global practice which meshes her consulting and scientific experience to provide results-oriented commercialization strategies for her clients in the clinical diagnostics and life science tools sectors. Kristin joined Health Advances in 2002.
Prior to Health Advances, Kristin was a scientist in genomics research at Genome Therapeutics and diagnostics technology development at Genzyme. She earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Smith College and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Management, and Maternal and Child Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Kristin is a noted speaker and writer in the diagnostics and life sciences industries, covering topics such as the commercialization of companion diagnostics, the transition of life science tools to the clinical laboratory, and investment in personalized medicine. She is also the co-founder of DxInsights, a non-profit organization designed to educate on the impact of diagnostics in improving health care outcomes to the nation’s healthcare communities.
