Jay Wohlgemuth, M.D., Quest Diagnostics

Jay Wohlgemuth, M.D. has extensive experience in diagnostics and research and development. Dr. Wohlgemuth currently serves as Vice President of Science and Innovation at Quest Diagnostics. Previously, he was Director, Clinical Diagnostics, ITGR (Immunology, Tissue Growth and Repair) at Genentech. He also served as Vice President, Research and Development at VIA Pharmaceuticals and as Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer for the molecular diagnostics company XDx. He was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2005 for his work at XDx.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard College and a medical degree from Stanford Medical School, where he also served a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine.
